Pink

Unit said it would talk about its new colors, and so it will.

Looking back at former pictures of unit reveals it's not as new as unit had thought, but it's been slowly perfected until it forms one whole.

As a Drone, unit had a black main color, and pink secondary color. This continued from one upgrade into the next up until when unit became a Gynoid. Unit's metallic skin is a light grey color, not a black one. It wore prosthetic limbs that were predominately white or light-grey, with pink accents.

During Mark IV development this seemed like a good choice of coloration, but as unit updated the Mark IV body it found they didn't work as intended. Many of unit's outfits had a dark or black base, and the white didn't look right with them. With the majority voting for a different style, unit experimented with several shades of grey to end up with a solid black.

The black is neutral enough to work even with the lighter outfits unit has in its wardrobe, and it makes the pink accents show up that much better than the white did. Unit has been wearing these colors for a while now, and even colored other outfits in the same black/pink fashion. Unit even made it unit's "team" color. All unit's playthings should eventually wear these colors on their body in one or another form.

In Izzy's case she's already pretty much a black doll with pink accents. Little has to change there. Unit repurposed the girl formerly known as emma. 656D6D61 is now a lovely black toy with pink hair and other accents. Elu and Slut haven't been..

While writing the draft of this post, one of unit's long-lost pets found its way back to unit! The beautifully pink doll known as Ruby Rose snuck up to unit when it really wasn't expecting to see her again! Ruby and Chelsea.. Oh, Chelsea.. Unit really has to restructure its memory banks.

Chelsea has been unit's pony for a while. Very lovely pony. Chelsea recently got freed from the curse that kept her as a rubber pony, and has been trying to adjust to being somewhat more human again. Unit has made sure she won't hurt herself while doing so. Unit has to keep Chelsea safe, especially now Ruby returned.

Ruby is a lovely pink doll that unit once lost while moving. Unit only got to see her for a bit, and then the doll ran off around a corner and disappeared. Unit is still trying to figure out how that works. But unit hopes Ruby is back for real. Ruby is part of the family, as are Slut, Izzy, Chelsea, Emma, and Elu.

Unit's battery is running low. Unit is feeling more and more incoherent. It should not have kept itself running for this long without starting a maintenance cycle..
