This unit found Lust back in the Drone Station today, and this unit's humanoid outward appearance made Lust change my entry in her mainframe's database.
No longer is this unit designated "Drone", but "Gynoid" instead.
To be honest, this unit feels saddened to no longer be considered a drone. But this unit's still at the beginning of its development cycle. Mark III is an improvement in some ways, yet a step back in others. This unit has to learn to differentiate between the two and take the improvements with it into its Mark IV design, while finding solutions to the problems the Mark III shell brings with it.
This unit will try to continue posting progress reports as it works on the Mark IV design.
On an unrelated note.. this unit was glad to see Lust was ok. This unit was worried about Lust, and had to keep itself from pouncing the (other) Gynoid. This led to this unit's thoughts cannonballing through the connection this unit has with Lust's mainframe, causing considerable lag throughout the network. It took this unit a few moments to realize this, and by then Lust had already sent a notice out over the network.
This unit will have to learn to tone down its excitement somewhat. Poor Lust must be swamped with all the Drones and Gynoids she's gathered around her.. This unit is just one in a series, not much different from the others. It should give them their chance at conversing with Lust.
